7-2
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44836088 All 22 goals. The most horrific moment is goal number 8 when the commentator babbles 'can he reach it? oh just about' as the guy actually does reach it and scores, therefore highlighting he's quite happy to mangle the English language in a copycat attempt to sound like a real commentator whilst just sounding like a clueless amateur. Which he undoubtedly is. The hospital radio of football commentary.

Markka
18 hours ago, Melanius Mullarkey said: Just the 20-0 for Lazio today. They only managed to score four in the last 35 minutes of the first half. Poor show. Back in the Estonian Cup, after Kalju and Trans Narva triumphed in the first two second round ties the top flight teams continued to win by huge margins. Flora stuck 13 past Tartu Helios and Paide scored 15 against Tallinna Augur but had the good grace to concede a consolation against the minnows. Most of the remaining second round ties were played yesterday and were disappointingly low scoring with a mere ten goals being the biggest margin of victory. There were however a couple of walkovers. Top-flight Pärnu Vaprus, albeit rock bottom of the league, almost came a cropper as they scraped a 2-1 victory over non-league works team NPM Silmet.

AsimButtHitsASix
Going back to the Estonian cup nonsense... ...a while ago HibeeJibee said, per population, the Scottish Cup had more teams than the FA Cup. So I looked across the cups in Europe to see how many clubs entered the competition, assumed 16 players in each match day squad, and compared it to population... Quote Just compared those numbers to populations of those countries. France has one entrant in their national cup for just under ever 8,000 people and Russia has more than 1,000,000 people for every entrant... Russia - 1,309,373 Italy - 781,577 Spain - 558,253 Turkey - 495,025 Netherlands - 206,500 Romania - 120,865 Sweden - 102,021 Austria - 87,837 Czech Republic - 79,211 England - 72,023 Hungary - 61,469 Scotland - 57,910 Portugal - 54,558 Denmark - 54,548 Belgium - 48,115 Finland - 41,477 Bosnia & Herzegovina - 26,041 Slovakia - 25,355 Wales - 22,692 Norway - 18,484 Northern Ireland - 14,803 Estonia - 12,767 France - 7,773 France's national cup has a load of prelim rounds before the big clubs go in so Estonia's very large cup, small population, and "all in" set up leads to the beautiful tournament we know and love. Would be awesome if Scotland done the same thing. Especially now the Juniors are moving senior. Celtic v Kirkcaldy YM plz As for the standard I was in Kurressaare a few years ago and they're a bit of a yo-yo club between the top flight and second tier and they started training in the park I was in. Would say they were the standard of a good South of Scotland team perhaps. (Although maybe I was watching their reserves or thirds)
Priti priti priti Patel
@AsimButtHitsASix does that include the FA Cup qualifying rounds as well?
AsimButtHitsASix
Aye. It includes prelim and qualifying rounds for all countries. It doesn't include qualifying competitions however. Technically every single amateur and junior club has a chance to play in the Scottish by winning the Junior or Amateur cup the season before but they aint included. ETA: I once answered a question in The Guardian about football in Tallinn. Might be of interest to some: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/oct/25/which-city-can-boast-the-most-teams-bearing-its-name-in-the-top-flight Edited August 9, 2018 by AsimButtHitsASix

Hoffenheim won 16-0 and QPR 10-0 today aswell. Always wondered why on earth these obvious mis matches would benefit either side involved? The Dutch amateur sides pay the professional teams to show up, and then hope to get the money out of it (and make a profit on top obviously) from ticket sales.

Markka
As we eagerly await another pre-season of mismatched friendly nonsense, everyone's favourite cup (Estonian) has kicked off for another season barely a week after Narva Trans picked up a surprise victory in the 2018/19 final. It was a huge success for Mauruse Saurused in the opening game as they improved on last year's 21-2 first round defeat against Maardu United II, managing to only narrowly be defeated 13-2 by Paide III. Perhaps if they can find someone's fourth string team to play they might get a win next year!
