RJM77
John McKendrick Nice of Kilday to give them a goal aswell, had a fucking draw written all over it apart from that.
The Grass Is Greener.
I watched Morton against Rangers last week and was quite impressed, thought we might have slipped up here so it's pleasing to get the result. Win against Hearts this weekend and it'll have been a great week.
vikingTON
Team that fields useless 'striker' Denny Johnstone in 'being completely toothless in the final third' shock.

TonMan
We were terrible. No conviction at all going forward. Sloppy passing in key areas as well. Forbes was terrible. Bordering on painful to watch at times, and the moment when he fell over and lost his balance kind of summed up his game. Johnstone was rubbish too. Looked terrified every time he had the ball in a tight area, and generally didn't contribute anything to the game. McManus at least occasionally showed something, but he didn't have a brilliant game either. Leaving the subs till so late was bizarre. It should've been clear at half-time that Johnstone wasn't having much of an impact, as it should've been against Rangers. That would've been the point to either bring him off for Samuel, or another midfielder to get more of a foothold in midfield. No idea why we persisted with him when he was adding nothing, and why we left it so late in the game to make some subs that never got much of a chance to make an impact. Wasn't too impressed by Hibs. They strung together plenty of nice passing sequences and are quite clearly a far better team, capable of playing good football on their day, but they were often lacking conviction finishing wise. They also looked a bit wary at the back, and we managed to rob them of possession a fair few times when we put some pressure on them. Which is another reason as to why Johnstone should've been off, because he's not the type of player who's going to close players down constantly. It's called: a) Jim Duffy b) grinding out a win Your welcome and good luck ????
RJM77
Hopefully Duffy realises now never to play O'Ware in midfield tonight, thought he was superb tonight at the back. Anyone know what was going on with the guy in the Cowshed giving Fyvie a whole load of abuse the entire game? Seemed a tad unwarranted.

Suppose this was always just the awkward game inbetween, and it's a job done for you regardless.

Feel very confident and assured with him at the back. And I think the booing Fyvie was something related to a daft free-kick claim he made or something along those lines. Could be wrong though. Rudolph Hucker
Bit of a sickener to give away the only goal the way we did. On the basis of the first half and most of the second that game was looking for all the world like a 0-0 draw. Gaston had one good save to make in the first half and a couple of easy ones in the second from tame shots straight at him, but unfortunately Morton didn't force a single decent save at the other end. We've persevered with big Denny for long enough and got little reward from it. Time to give Samuel more gametime. Disappointed by what Hibs had to offer. They're better than most teams in this division, but if they're lucky enough to go up this season (ie by not Hibsing it in the playoffs the way Rangers Rangered it last season) then they'll struggle to make the top six unless they strenghthen significantly. Playing for time with 40 minutes left, against a team that was a division below them last season, sums up where they are right now, and it'll be interesting to see what a pretty decent Hearts team can do to them on Sunday. Anyone know what was going on with the guy in the Cowshed giving Fyvie a whole load of abuse the entire game? Seemed a tad unwarranted. Yeah, O'Ware was very good tonight. I think maybe the guy thought that he was shouting at the Fraser Fyvie who posts on here, in which case fair enough. Duffy never learns f**k all. It's Shan but true. Who or what is a Shan? No. Papping 3 Premiership teams and reaching a cup final shows where we are right now. Enjoy mid-table mediocrity for the foreseeable.
