SuperAyr1910
Massive game for us. Win necessary if we have any hope of top spot IMO. Obviously dissapointing that the pars are 10 clear. Not quite the as close as I expected us to be come this game. Its going to be tough. We got a brilliant result up there back in september and I do think its possible again. However we really need to stop letting in stupid goal like the one against peterhead on saturday. Dunfermline are a great side and will punish any silly errors. Personally I would go with Andy graham and Peter Murphy at the back and hopefully boyle is back. Not sure wither its worth risking docherty in centre mid. Not played for ages but is a quality player, our best IMO. Stevo needs to show more, has occasional flashes but doesnt seem to settle into the game. Ever the optimist im going for a 3-1 win for ayr with moore getting two and preston the other.
Shandon Par
Fancy us to get a narrow win and another red card for someone overreacting to being punched in the face.
AUFC10
Pretty much all or nothing for us in terms of competing for the title (although I do think Dunfermline will win it). We've been disappointing of late and we will have to firing on all cylinders to get the win we need. If Doc is back that would be a massive boost as I think it's became clear how important he is to our team. The narrow formation didn't work on Saturday so hopefully we will go with 4 across middle of the park. Dunfermline are a good side with good players and they have something we don't - natural pace. Everyone of their front players can beat a man for pace and I feel this is an area we have lacked all season. Heart says and Ayr win. Head says 2-0 Dunfermline. Poet of the Macabre
Disaster of an OP for such a big game. That's what happens when you leave this sort of thing to an Ayr fan though. edit- Especially interesting to hear September 12th described as "before Christmas" I guess every day is technically before Christmas... D.A.F.C
If we don't react to their wind ups and fouling we will win easily. Every game against them has involved controversy but we haven't seen it against anyone else we've played. They're an extremely limited side, football wise, but do have one or two good players who we need to keep an eye on. It will be interesting to see what would happen if we sat back and hit them on the counter. A draw would be a decent result for us but not Ayr. young buck
Dunfermline are a great side on a scale of Francis Rossi to Liam Gallagher how much Coke had you snorted pre post?
D'Jaffo
If everyone is fit then i'll go for this team. Gerry didn't show any quality whatsoever last week and Peterhead exploited it. Also Trouten has been a bit of a passenger for Ayr in recent weeks and hasn't lived up to his pre-season expectations. Fleming Devlin Graham Murphy Boyle Gilmour Docherty - might not be match fit but is crucial for this game IMO. Adams Stevo Preston Moore
Joe schmo
on a scale of Francis Rossi to Liam Gallagher how much Coke had you snorted pre post? I presume Rossi and Parfitt are/were at Tony Montana levels whereas Gallagher is more like a gram of cheap speed...

DAFC.
Without Docherty they struggle to compete with the best teams. He's a big player for them, so here's hoping he's out for this. Can't see us losing tbh. A win for us would be a massive blow for Ayr. They need a result in this. A fully fit squad should be capable of beating them. Will the CB pairing for Ayr be Gerry and Pete Murphy? Here's hoping. Team to remain unchanged from Saturday: Murdoch Reid McKay BRE Talbot Cardle Falkingham Geggan Paton Fais Moffat

itzdrk
D.A.F.C has been noticeably bubbling away in anticipation for this game for weeks. Currently the leading candidate to lose their shit on Saturday evening. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
Poet of the Macabre
I might think differently depending on how the game goes but I certainly wouldn't take a point right now. Three points and I think that would Ayr pretty much done in the title race. If we lose, then they're back in with a sniff.

If we win we can feasibly bring the gap down to 4 with Stenny to come to Somerset for a rearranged game. At that point we would probably need to beat you again to have any hope. So I think a draw rules us out. For what it's worth I think we will do it. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
