David Prescott, John Prescotts son Labour candidate for Mansfield in the 2017 general election, has been accused of multiple instances of sexual harassment.

In one accusation he went back to the hotel room of a young woman who subsequently changed her mind about having sex with him. Perturbed by her rejection, he went into the main room of her hotel suite and proceeded to shite on the floor, next to a radiator' which he turned up before leaving.

Labour -For the many, not the poo.

I've no doubt this will be swept under the carpet.

(The incident, not the actual toley)

What does FBPE stand for?

Follow Back, Pro Europe, it's like a gang of folk on twitter but they're all the most awful blairite centrists. I'm very tired explaining the joke now.

Folk on Twitter follow each other so their feed is made of the tweets of folk they follow. FBPE is supposed to be a unifying group of like minded folk who just want to stay in the EU but it's dominated by the most tiresome folk who just think wouldn't it be better if it was just 1997 again.

Cheers, sometimes I feel as if I've just awoken from a coma after 10 years out.

Is it just me, or does language seem to change on an almost daily basis with new words appearing without any warning and new meanings of current words being altered by the day ??

It's REALLY hard to try and keep up with it all............

Thanks.

I'll need to start spending less time travelling, socialising with my friends and playing Golf etc and more time sitting in my room on the various social media platforms.........

Explains a lot.

There's really no answer to that and confirms why our country is in the state that it's in.

It's not any different to any other time really, new ideas come about, new language accompanying it.

We're just getting older, and it gets that wee bit harder to keep up to speed.

Just make sure you're well enough informed, and not reading shite all the time.

Or don't, and gradually descend into ukip levels of dialogue.

Change is never good !!

(unless it's an improvement on what it replaces and it rarely seems to be nowadays).

Nuclear: Energy bills 'used to subsidise submarines'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-48509942

"Prof Andy Stirling from Sussex argues that one reason the government is willing to burden householders with the expense of nuclear energy is because it underpins the supply chain and skills base for firms such as Rolls Royce and Babcock that work on nuclear submarines."

Well.
