Hampden Diehard
I'm in the Far East in the summer and can get a cheap flight to Vladisvostok in Russia while I'm there. I just fancy having a look round for a couple of days as I've never been to Russia. Do I need a visa, even for a couple of days? I've heard that I do, unless I come on a cruise, for some reason. LongTimeLurker
Yes, and having been through the process twice I can tell you that they are not easy to get without somebody in Russia you know or a Russian tourist company giving you a formal invitation letter well in advance. Probably not worth the hassle involved.
Hampden Diehard
Cheers, gents. Doesn't look like it's worth the hassle for a couple of nights.
