Guest DAVIDB69
We know we can't see them live because Europe is back tonight. However sky sports news saying you will see the goals first at 10pm which seems to be as good as it gets. Are sportscene not allowed to show highlights of the games are can they just not be bothered. Although it's a while since a midweek sportscene with Scottish cup highlights
Owsley
It's shocking that there is no tv highlights. We'd get some if there were some tasty English FA Cup replays.
CM.
Probably get highlights on the BBC website after midnight.

Menzel
Aren't Scottish Cup highlights not uploaded to youtube? They are for the earlier rounds I believe.
The Master
BBC are entitled to show highlights on TV. But clearly "Holby City" is more important.
The Master
Er...what? Hull v Arsenal is to be shown live up against Champions League games...with UEFA's blessing. http://www.thefa.com/news/the-fa-cup/2016/feb/fifth-round-replay-hull-city-arsenal-date OK, it's a 7pm KO, but that's still 30 minutes of overlap with their precious CL matches. Was this option even open to the SFA for last week?

Was this option even open to the SFA for last week? UEFA have probably looked at the FA Cup tie and thought who would watch Hull v Arsenal when you can watch Real Madrid v Roma? Clearly the same reason that Dundee v Dumbarton wasn't shown live. Viewing figures for Arsenal v Barcelona would have been decimated.

Was this option even open to the SFA for last week? That's actually very interesting. I assumed the rule was pretty much there without question, and that there was no way around it. UEFA will have set themselves quite a precedent with that, and any FA worth anything (debatable if that includes the SFA) will be going to them and demanding they get the same treatment. There was an option for a 5.45pm kick off, however, the spirit of The FA Cup is strongly defined by the supporters and an earlier time would have significantly impacted on fans’ attendance. This was not a viable solution I suppose a tiny bit of credit goes to the FA for this. A 545 midweek kick off would be ridiculous for fans actually wanting to attend the game, but I'm surprised that actually came into their minds.
