NEWS UPDATE.

After nearly nine years as Chairman of Bellshill Athletic I have decided to leave the Club due to personal and business commitments. I leave the Club in a much better place since taking over in 2007 when the Club was on the point of folding.

During my time as Chairman we have had many lows being made homeless and having to leave the town for a number of years, and consecutive relegations. But we have had a few highs as well last seasons promotion and ultimately the return to the town of Bellshill to play at Rockburn Park this season. Turning a derelict building / facility into a proper club base has brought a lot of satisfaction to myself and everyone involved and is solid evidence of their hard work and commitment and Im hopeful the Club can progress further now a base has been secured.

I would like to thank all those who have supported me throughout my tenure through committee membership, sponsorship, fund raising and attending social events to support my commitment to keeping a Club steeped in history since 1897 alive.

I wish the committee, helpers, management, players and supporters my best wishes for the future.

Regards

Paul Fox
