Grim O'Grady
Have any of our esteemed members ever sued anyone? Who would you like to bring financial ruin on? Has Esther Rantzen/Anne Robinson ever come to your rescue? Have you ever penned a strongly worded letter to the ombudsman? Regale us. longjohn
Yes. I took a financial adviser to the Ombudsman a number of years ago. Had given us crap advice and lost us quite a bit of money. Ombudsman found for us and we got most of our losses back. Took a bit of time and a lot of paperwork. Who would I want to financially ruin? Didn't take any of them to court but if: Compaq Air China NPower e-on Spotify Were to go tits-up I would be a happy bunny as I got seriously shit service in one way or another from all of them
BFTD
You got a job with a no-fee lawyer's office, Grimbo? Sadly disappointed, as I thought maybe you'd spelled 'Swing' wrong. It's the one thing missing from P&B, frankly.

Hampden Diehard
I work for a public sector organisation and the general public seem to think that makes us easy targets for their spurious claims and subsequent law suits...driven by the no win / no fee brigade......who are utter, utter scum. The outright ridiculous nature of some of the claims would lead me believe that the general public are, generally, a bunch of fannies.
