Despite the singing and dancing on Saturday, one very good piece of work from Carter was the only difference but the confidence from that was palpable. A wee bit more composure in front of goal and we can win this one. Certainly due it after the 0-1 thrashings we've already given Rangers. 2-0 to The QP.

Can't make this one but my only other two absences this term have been Tuesday nights away - Montrose & EF. Looks promising 8)

The fact we somehow managed to win not one but two games against you is the only thing that gives me hope in this league. Probably be 0-5 as payback for those 6 points.

Hearing Billy Bald is unavailable tomorrow night so the Flying Baker is to be called up as a trialist.

Blair Henderson to score 101 goals, smashing Eric Taits record and silencing KHS once and for all.

A very good opportunity for us to put some points between us and shire. Can't see them beating the smokies so a point or more would be decent.

Hope Coff goes with the eleven that finished the Clyde match, which would mean Finn Graham and Dylan Stevenson giving us the mobility in midfield that turned Saturday's game on its head, and Sandy Cunningham up front. Walker and McKenna both put in good shifts last Tuesday against Annan, but the former was pedestrian at Broadwood to the extent that he should have had someone walking in front of him with a red flag, while McKenna reverted to his running up blind alleys trick. That meant Stevie Notman getting snowed under in midfield. Millen and Big Marv had Blair in their pockets all afternoon on Saturday. Given Brian Wharton's loss of form for the Spiders, let's get a tricky player like Cunningham up against him, with Lavery playing off and using his pace to discomfort the visiting defence. As for Graham and Stevenson, the way they brought a snap and pace to our previously slow-mo midield was a joy to watch, and even had the effect of Euan McNeil bombing forward like he did at the start of the seaon. No brainer for me.

2-1 the Gers.

Almost zero football played at this game.

If you are into punts up the park to no-one in particular then this was the match for you.

Man of the match just for ground covered has to be John Carter.

Major tactical changes required - not attractive viewing !. Play like this on Saturday and we are in for a cuffing.

Put Duggan on and played him as a winger ......did not work .

Please tell me that this is a sick joke? Please tell me he didn't put Duggan on the wing and left Paul Woods warming his arse for 90 minutes.

Well that was dreadful. Again.

Brian Martin gets pass marks for me again. started off a bit slow but he is A cracking presence in the air. Between him and McGregor i'd say they're more effective than attaching a blimp to the goalposts. Finn was decent, my personal highlight being when he ended up running a freekick in a promising position backwards 20 yards due to lack of options from any teammates. Got hounded for it but there was nothing else he could've done with it.

Everyone else was shite. Stevenson was poor, Notman only knows backwards or sideways. Lavery was very quiet and Johnny still shouldn't be on the pitch, never mind captain.

I have no opinion on Blair Henderson. Did you know, he's scored 14 goals in 43 games? Impressive.

Tactics and formation all wrong in the first 45mins. Crane was lost and didn't know where he was supposed to be.

Second half he was much more effective at left back. Too much tinkering and changing, of the midfield only Notman finished where he started. We are lacking quality in midfield but need to at least get it more settled.

Fairbairn won every single header but his distribution was poor. With his ability in the air alongside Martin, McGregor and Henderson, we should be pushing on looking for more corners and set pieces around the opponents box. Only delivery into the box last night resulted in a goal.

Still think Walker is a total bomb scare on high balls, he dropped one under no pressure and nearly cost us a point.

Queens Park had a 15min spell during opening 45mins where they looked decent, they were unlucky not to get a penalty just before they scored. Long ball tactics second 45 was bread and butter for Fairbairn and McGregor.

Very harsh imo. We defended very well and that included Jonny. Notman played a few loose balls, but generally played well especially towards the end. I'd go as far to say it's the best I've seen him since his injury in the second half.

Henderson did his job well however got barely any support from Lavery or midfield. He held it up well and was pretty consistent in laying the ball off to others.

Stevenson didn't have a great game and Lavery was about as bad as I've seen him. He's always been hitty missy though and can pop up with a goal when not playing well so is always going to start.

Interesting that you left the keeper out of your criticism. He's an absolute bomb scare. The worst regular starter I've ever seen in goal for Berwick. I said a couple weeks ago, we've got what we've got so get behind them, but we've also got Walters who despite being unorthodox in his style at least comes off his line. Hopefully Billy Bauld is also going to be available again because Walker is consistently putting us in trouble.

I was a horrible game of football, however it was pretty even and Queens Park are challenging for the title. We defended well and restricted them to 2 attempts on target, one the goal which was from a corner and from what I remember the other was a goalmouth scramble when Walker dropped the ball. The game was dreadful, but certainly not the performance as a whole imo.

Unfortunately no, not a sick joke! Woods was dropped to the bench on Saturday as well though he did get on. Why he has been dropped is beyond me. Granted he has maybe not been as good (and that's not saying he has been bad!) in the last few weeks as he has been this season or last but who in the team has? Would be interested to know why he has been dropped when others who are continually bad continue to start.

And the fact he put Duggan on in the wing before him is embarrassing to say the least and an insult.

Personally, I would drop a few players before Woods with only say Gibson, Berry and McGeever certain to start. Burns continually allows players into the box, Galt is never off the ground and although Carter would run all day for you he just doesn't seem to have enough technical ability or end product (his effort on Saturday aside!).

I agree with your comment re long balls up the park. Tactics are all wrong, boring football and teams have worked this out. Re team selection, don't get it and personally think its poor.

I don't think blasting individuals on here is going to have any positive effect in the slightest.

There's no point in any of us picking on individuals now, including me. It won't do any good. It's pretty important both Walker and Henderson are confident and playing somewhere near their best going forward, rather than feeling they're fighting against the fans as well as the opposition.

There are no words.
