catcoach Posted April 2, 2016 Share Posted April 2, 2016 TWO experienced Goalkeeping Coaches are inviting managers,coaching staff or parents to put their goalies forward for specialist Summer Coaching Programmes at two venues ( North Glasgow and South Glasgow). Age groups are 11 to 16 years of age, and can involve both Boys' Club or Pro-Youth level. There will also be another older group for Under-21, Amateur and Junior Goalkeepers. The coaches have been working with young goalies who have been put forward for specialist work by their parents. They include boys from Claremont, Rossvale,Drumchapel Amateurs and Seafar Villa. The work ethic from the youngsters has been excellent,and bodes well for the programme. The plan is to make more sessions available for Boys' Club and Pro-Youth goalkeepers before the end of their season(s) through late May,and well into June before the schools go on holiday. Welcome aboard MICHAEL McGEE ( Seafar Villa, Cumbernauld), DYLAN AUSTIN ( Drumchapel Amateurs), and AIDAN KEATING ( Claremont Boys' Club). Said Head Coach Stephen Bryceland: "We would like to thank the clubs and parents of these young goalkeepers for establishing contact with our Academy. "Many years ago, we had a terrific response from Claremont ( via Mr Beattie) for our Sunday summer courses, while Dylan is the first Drumchapel Amateurs recruit. Hopefully,more will follow him."
