Soor Plooms
Watched a good game at Yarrow Park tonight between Selkirk and University of Stirling where the home side were unlucky not to get at least a point. The League might want to review the 7pm kick off time however....on what was a lovely, sunny night the game finished in almost complete darkness...had it been a dull or rainy night it could not have been completed. WaffenThinMint
For a moment there from that title I thought Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys had bought over a Lowlands League side. If Selkirk can have a Poet-In-Residence, anything's possible. This week at Selkirk's Yarrow Park Two clubs found themselves playing in the dark Now some have made calls For luminous balls The Souters wives said "sod that for a lark!" Take that Thomas Clark! I suppose the idea is that the floodlights would have kicked in had it gone too dark - which reminds me, what is the lighting level which determines whether floodlights need to be on or not? Dear old WaffenThinMint, Sometimes I think you have a heart of flint, Playing in the dark isn't right, But the Souters don't have floodlights, Although now they might take the hint! Oh TamtheBam, may I dare Show a candle to this dark affair? In 2014 the Souters plans made lots of sense for fifty knickers' worth of devil's incandescence But two years on, and still no luck? Are those "cluster floodlights" a clusterf*ck?
