Hibernian vs Queens

Totally agree on the Millar Red - this is the problem that you have with Referees - one in 50 would have awarded a Red for that challenge but unfortunately we had him at Easter Road yesterday. It was a classic case of Ref ruining another game of football. Dont get me wrong Hibs were comfortably the better side but we contained them quite effectively with 11 v 11. Afterthe sending off I thought we actually did Falkirk a big favour as many teams would have capitulated in similar circumstances..

That said I strongly believe that committing professional fouls is a disaster waiting to happen and when you resort to these tactics you invariably reap what you sow. We were also guilty of wasting time yesterday even in the first half - after our last visit when we lost the disputed extra time goal it was disappointing to witness a repetition.

Overall I thought the players fought really hard in difficult circumstances and the makeshift back 4 + Jim did very well.Russell and Hilson both put in tremendous shifts throughout.

What "ruined the game" was your embarrassing time-wasting tactics from 20 minutes (just like in the previous meeting at ER) which even continued when you were losing the game. Baffling and I'd be pretty angry if I was a Queens fan that travelled to watch that guff.

Uh-huh, suuuuure we did.

The only potential "time wasting tactics" were when our keeper decided to go take a drink at the back of his net instead of taking a goalkick. At which point the management team told him to get on with it and it didnt happen again.

Dont let that ruin your fable though.

Nah. Players constantly going down "injured", the keeper taking the piss, taking your time for every free kick and throw-in. All at a meaningless end-of-season game

It wasn't meaningless.

If it was, you wouldn't have been able to Hibs it.

I think your obsession with time says more about your nerves when failing to score v 11.

Can't see you being that lucky with decisions in remaining games. Keep taking the tablets.

Dinnae listen to them Queens.

When we were at ER Hibs had clearly told the ball boys to take as long as possible. Our players had to get the ball themselves a few times due to a shortage of young lads moving their arses

They've had 2 of the worst penalties I've seen in my life this season v us.

That drop ball v yous that won them 3 points.

Luck has been on their side all season in their march to 3rd place

You can't go kicking folk completely off the ball and not expect a red card.

Maybe if you had come and had a go you'd not have been dominated by 20-odd shots to 1. Lucky us though
