Eednud
Well done to proud Angus club Carnoustie Panmure for finishing 14th out of 16 in the Juniors East Super League. Is that an advance well done as Panmure 12th with 9 games to play?
keptie
Ah,there's nothing like playing in you're home town and owning you're own ground, that's what proper clubs do.
maxruby
Newcastle & Sunderland ( Tyne & Wear I know) but basically still Northumberland & look at the nick o them, fighting relegation ! Angus - I just think o Aberdeen Angus burgers. Forfar - the Plough -great pub Arbroath - Tutties Neuk - brand new boozer Berwick - Leaping Salmon - good too. And i'very just lost the plot wi this thread. Sorry i'm pished Tyne and Wear? Try telling that to Newcastle and Sunderland fans. Tyne and Wear was disbanded as a county authority in 1986. Newcastle-Northumberland, Sunderland- Durham. Stick to navel gazing, Socrates.

Ivo den Bieman
We deduce from this thread that 1. the season is over 2. berwick-the-beatable is smarting badly after his humiliation on the "flag" thread 3. berwick lost at the weekend.
The Spider
given the fact that the Northumberland team finished highest in their respected division than any Angus team, I'd say yes. respected by whom?

Yellow Feet
Monbroathfarcin Beamers is to long, wouldn't fit on a flag. Still at least we'd remember to take it home and not leave it in a pub. #Destroyed

berwick-the-unbeatable
I don't understand the hostility in this topic. I'm merely trying to make Scotland appreciate the Angus powerhouse. I didn't realise the clubs from Angus were so protective of their success
1320Lichtie
There's no hostility. Safe to say this hasn't really turned out the way you had hoped. After the recent flag episode it's been a bad few weeks for the Berwick boys on here. Well, the Berwick boys that lost the flag.

QPSAFalkirkFirm
Can only assume BTU's rage over Angus is racially motivated and heavily laced with envy. Montrose - home of the Scottish Renaissance led by Hugh McDiarmid , also founder of the forerunner to the SNP Arbroath - where the Declaration of Independence was written. Brechin - centre of Pictland which later became Alba. Forfar - uniquely Scottish food. Berwick - South Berwick to be precise. Former Scottish Royal Burgh who got stuck on the wrong side when the Act of Union was signed. Nae luck! It's unfortunate you got stuck in England BTU but you need to get over it and move on. Better together
SimonLichtie
Can we not just kill off Brechin? They're a village FFS, shouldn't be playing in the same setup as illustrious neighbors like Arbroath and Forfar.
Hampden Diehard
Trips to Angus are usually some of the best in the season. There are other places I'd like to amalgamate first. Clyde / Dirty Rovers (after the yuppification of Big Owen's) / Airdrie for starters could form a North Lanarkshire side in that hotbed of disinterest.
