Firhill_Basin
I'm not sure if any of you have paid any attention, but Paul Goodwin is getting himself front and centre of a group of people trying to launch a fans bid more or less funded by Colin Weir and with little overall backing from the Thistle fanbase as a whole to take over the club. Seemingly it didn't go too well for him at Stirling Albion according to a post on here. What was the script him at the club?

BendtnerBairn
Hi lads. Just a quick one. What’s your memories and overall feeling towards Robert Snodgrass’ spell with the Binos? didnt he score a winner in a play off final.
Gnash
Early in his spell the fans didn't like him due to his unimpressive performances and diving. In particular he got a load of abuse, bizarrely, for getting a penalty for us at Station Park. Photos later confirmed there had been a foul. Anyway, he sorted himself out, or Allan Moore sorted him out, and he became a key player for us in the 2nd half of the season. His freekick v Morton and goal in the playoff final were particularly memorable.

His free kick against Morton was one of my favourites. Even though we didn't win the league that year, the play-offs were brilliant and he played a big part in that with his two goals against Airdrie in the second leg.

BB_Bino
Delighted to read that Sean Heever has now signed a professional deal with the club. Like most supporters, I didn’t know what kind of deal he was on when he signed, but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to work out he would be one of the lower paid first team players. It’s credit to the lad on how hard he has worked, that he has come in, ceased his opportunity and has become an important part of the first team. Hopefully this deal now brings him in line with other members of the squad (I’m sure it does) and from a supporters position it’s great to see, as there is no doubt he has impressed me when I have watched him this season.Well done Sean and hopefully it’s not the last professional contract you get at The Albion.

Now if you score on Saturday that would be the icing on the cake.

Lesser Is More
I'm showing my age here, however I saw Albions Johnny Lawlor sometime between 1961/ 63. A naturally gifted wee player,Its always stuck in my memory him displaying some Gary Mackay Steven type trickery.

That was the season the Albion played most of the home matches at Ochilview as Forthbank was under construction, crowds weren't great around then and I seem to recall they stopped printing programmes for a short spell as they were losing money on them so they may not necessarily be a programme for that match.

Might have the date wrong then but can definitely remember it being at Annfield and a midweek game.It was my first game and we parked on Snowdon place and walked round to the ground. No luck on ebay as yet nor with almondvale programmes (wee shop in Leith). Will keep my eyes peeled.
