colinmcn
Is it OK for a team to sell their own raffle tickets at an away match, reducing the money the home team make from selling their own?

BANKIEBILL
We run a weekly lottery which many ( if not the majority of ) clubs do. Many people can only buy these at games so may have been this. Can anyone else say that they would not make these available to their fans in similar circumstances? It's not the same as a matchday raffle. Exactly and what an absolute nonentity of a thread this is. We were selling scottish cup final merchandise at auchinleck last night via loads of merchandise forms to our fans because that's the only convenient time that we all see one another so should we have been hunted out of the ground and told to only sell our stuff at Bellsdale ? Of course not and in the main we were all wished good luck from the people of talbot . This must be one of the most silliest threads in pie and bovril history and like ourselves bankies guys were probably only catching up with people at a decent opportunity.
