Mr Bairn
Really disappointed that Rennie and Davidson won constituency seats. Seething mess
Mr Bairn
The biggest minter of the night is Jackie Baillie winning her seat. What an embarassment. And John Mason being back at parliament. Mason is a function of the old monkey in red rosette syndrome. Mason is one of the monkeys that wear yellow rosettes now. As is Natalie McGarry, who is utterly seething on twitter
fanny paddery
The Tory total, by anyone's estimate, has far exceeded expectations. Watershed stuff in the circumstances. Hangover kicking in yet?

Mark Connolly
Love that they are trying to sell it as a disaster for the SNP
Mr Bairn
I find it absolutely bizarre that McGarry is throwing a hissy fit on twitter about the Tories gaining a second Glasgow MSP when she herself is engaged to one of their councillors

Mr Bairn
The story of this election is the Tories taking over from Labour as the second party and doing so in style

pandarilla
Well the complacency shown by some SNP voters by making Green their 2nd vote looks like it's backfired. Nicola warned them and they didn't listen... Nonsense. We're not snp supporters we're independence supporters.
Im_Rodger
Its beautiful for us absolutely beautiful True. I'll admit. Labour's demise is truly glorious.
Hughsie
Stewart Hosie is a bit of a w****r eh? Happy that the Conservatives have secured second and hope that Davidson keeps her word to fight the SNP on the 'Named Person' policy. Hopefully it gets consigned to the bin where it belongs. Obviously happy with Michael Matheson being returned in my constituency. Not that it was in doubt.
renton
Not a disaster. Wouldn't consider it worth celebrating if you're an SNP supporter though. Long term having the Tories as the opposition suits the SNP just fine. Let the main cheerleaders for Unionism be couched in Tory values, that'll hasten the end of the union....
