In recent years at least, there are a few players who have gone on to become passable Premiership level, or lower, players (Liam Donnelly, Dom Thomas, Steven Lawless), but none that feel like a missed opportunity. I'd forgot Manzinga even existed. He seems to have carved out a half decent career for himself. Currently playing in the K-League so fair play to him. Swello Posted March 23 Share Posted March 23 It's definitely been a thing over long years that not many of our standard players actually go on to do better elsewhere (although they always make more money), regardless of their form/popularity at Fir Park. Last season's O'Hara at Saints was clearly a mile above anything that we got out of him but other than that, you're down to players that weren't "our standard" and were clearly destined for a higher level (eg, Kipre, Campbell, Turnbull, Randolph).
