The Real Saints
Stevie May is past it. Championship-level striker at best. We’ve got bigger fish to fry.
The Real Saints
It quite clearly says the deal's off. That is the actual headline. Not 'could or might be off'. Off. I feel like you didn’t read FrankChickens’ last paragraph.

HibsFan
The last time St Johnstone fans wanted a deal to get over the line this badly, the DUP got £1bn out of it.

To be fair that's quite witty. Well done.

steviemay17
We've probably signed Callum Booth but the club are too scared to announce it

FrankChickens1
Bannerman hasn't tweeted the article, probably embarrassed by the headline. He has however replied to the unofficial tweet about Stevie May OTD with an emoji that, to the extent I can interpret enojis, isn't encouraging

Can only envisage silence from the club today, unless they put a statement outlining why its collapsed, they certainly won't announce any signings.

I would like to include "dissapointed to announce" "did all we could" "made him a very acceptable offer" "Rowan Vine is a massive c*nt" on my card
FrankChickens1
Sorry Valentino, seems I didn't even read the article properly. Ack well

Hopefully lessons learned from the whole thing, it should never have been so public, and now the pressure on the club to sign a first team striker has gone from big to absolutely monumental. Genuinely feel sorry for the striker we do sign now.
RossBFaeDundee
Deary, deary me. A fitting conclusion, if you will. Congrats on Midden for winning this wacky race.
steviemay17
it's a massive shambles however as someone who lives his life fueled by vendettas and petty revenge, if whoever posted on here saying Steve Brown had made rowan vine get the bus home is true thats a whole new level of pettiness that i aspire to
The Real Saints
In this tight league, a quality striker can be the difference between challenging for top six and being in serious trouble. As things stand, I fear we're a lot closer to the latter. I feel like it's the easy option to blame Rowan Vine for this. Which is exactly why I'm going to blame Rowan Vine. f**k you, Rowan.

In retrospect such a minor detail is probably telling.
The Real Saints
To add insult to injury, if St. Mirren end up signing Stevie May, we've effectively allowed them to hold preliminary talks at McDiarmid Park.
