Use the tenner to buy a hammer then go to Martins* room and bludgeon the weird c**t to death while shouting the names of the current St Johnstone squad please. *it may be a different name but you get the gist.

The Marly
Covid testing went well today [emoji56]Hope this means there was no positive tests. Not that they managed to test the entire squad in record time.

Impossible to test the entire squad when there’s still four of them at home.

Scotland gets that group stage for cup winners only if the winner of CL/UEL qualifies for CL through the league or winning the tournament. If they don't they then take up the final spot that would've went to where Scotland is in the coefficient placings

That seems to be in doubt now.

I think it was just inaccurate reporting at the time based on a technicality

I've had a look at the Access List table (https://kassiesa.net/uefa/AccessList2021.html) and it would seem to suggest the following: Lose cup = Conference league 2nd round qualifiers Win cup and Chelsea lose CL = Europa League 3rd round qualifiers Win cup and Chelsea win CL = Europa League play-offs, dropping down into Conference group stages if defeated Someone please feel free to correct me if this is nonsense. I think that Chelsea finishing in the top 6 is probably a foregone conclusion, as is Villarreal failing to make the top six, hence why I've only included Chelsea's CL campaign in these scenarios. RandomGuy.
Would folk be happy with him staying? Think if he's willing to play a similar role in the squad as this season then it wouldn't be the worst option. We lose something compared to Rooney, but its not as if Brown has been a total liability. Just a steady back up who could still improve.
Radford
Strengthen at times of strength. There is too much of a drop off when Brown plays. In our system, the wing backs need to be able to create. One of the big differences post-Xmas was a player with end product (Rooney) replacing one without (McNamara). Brown is a zero G+A if ever I saw one. I understand the argument that will be made about consistency though and focusing on other areas. But we would need to sign a centre back if Brown is going to be cover at wing back.

I think Brown might be good in a 4 but a 5 just isn't his game. It's a no from me.
Widge
I was always under the impression Brown could play centreback as well, but I guess not since he’s never been played there. For that reason alone I don’t think I’d want to sign him. The more versatile the better for our defenders if you ask me, unless a young, specialist fullback comes along who has an end product. I’d have actually taken someone like Josh Mullin before he signed a new deal at Livi. He’s someone who can play wing back comfortably and be utilised further forwards if needs be. Dare I say it, a touch of the Drey Wright about him.
Radford
I think Drey Wright (and Matty Kennedy) would have done really well at Saints this season. They are richer men but are they happier men?
