Not one mention on this forum of Hemmings or May or any other strikers for a few pages and several hours. Absolutely brilliant diversionary tactics by Broon, take a bow Crroma. You probably don't drink because you can't do it in moderation, therefore you are jealous!

Then raging about folk at their work? Then asking everybody what he could spend the "3k in my bank" on? Fucking hell, lunatic. More relief than euphoria, given how short we were of players around a week ago.

It's a 'free event' apparently, so we don't have to pay to find out what the club that we pay for are doing with our money. Goin' Season Ticket Holders 'Open Forum' The Club is pleased to invite Season Ticket holders to what will be the first of several ‘Open Forums’ this season with Chairman Steve Brown and other members of the Board of Directors. The purpose of the evening is to engage with supporters and provide an overview of the running of the club. Among the topics to be discussed at this first event are all departments of the football operation, football finances and stadium facilities and there will be the opportunity for guests to ask pertinent questions throughout the evening. This free event takes place in the Centenary Suite at McDiarmid Park on Thursday 29th August 2019 and the limited places will be made available on a first come, first served basis. Details of how Season Ticket holders can secure their place will be made available early next week and should this inaugural event be fully subscribed then any Season Ticket holders who are unsuccessful in their application for a ticket will be given priority at a similar subsequent event. “ Chairman, the natives are restless” “I think we should have an open forum give them a cup of tea and a sandwich” Chairman: “Fk that, what will that cost?” ”But it might encourage ST sales” Chairman: “lets have an open forum.........”

Templar
Only decent strikers still looking for a team is Hooper and Lafferty Hooper's and Lafferty's wages will be too expensive. Therefore it will have to be a loan or a shit striker signed in the hope Tommy can get something out of him. But Tommy's record in recent times with strikers is not good. Looks like our number 1 priority from last season has not been achieved. Lots of players gone and a couple of back ups in, As long as the window is open there is hope. Those that said in June to patient, we will get a striker, are you still confident that one will come in.

Reignman
Was speaking to a colleague today who was saying he has a mate who works for Rangers and is often ITK about transfers etc. He told him that Ryan Hardie on a permanent deal and Glen Middleton on loan to Saints was effectively a done deal before Blackpool came in for Hardie. As it was kind of a package for both meant that Middleton didnt happen. So maybe there has been more going on in terms of working to sign targets than we are giving Saints credit for. That aside, I have nothing to add to the general consensus that it appears the May situation and as a consequence the chance to sign Hemmings has been dealt with dreadfully which isnt even surprising and apathy is at an all time high.
Reignman
I guess the flip side of the above, if true, is that its another target we'be failed to sign so does in fact speak to our total incompetence in player recruitment.
The Woolshed
There’s no doubts someone will comein up front before September 1st. Whether they will be up to the standard we need is another issue altogether. The main issue remains however that the timing of all this with the league season now underway is completely unacceptable for a top flight club. It still might not come back to bite us on the arse, but if it does we’ve no one to blame but ourselves. I still fancy us on paper to get a positive result on Saturday but given the levels of negativity surrounding the club and team we could very easily be turned over. Not good times
Fifespud
Look on the bright side lads - you’ve got 10 gazillions in the bank, although the Browns can trouser that any time they like of course.
Dick Van Dyke
Can you imagine the atmosphere on Saturday if we go a goal down. The fans should be getting behind the players that we have but the club have brought any negative atmosphere on themselves
