YER SISTERS YER MAW
We must be better than Lyon as it took them a last minute penalty to beat us at their gaff.
Ludo*1
This is class. Declan, as you could expect, also got called out for having a name like Declan.
djchapsticks
Boy oh boy is this twitter thread a fun read. Looks like there is real dissension among the Rangers support on this. I mean, those who previously have taken great pride in being the 'silent majority' when it comes to issues like Brexit and Indy Referendum (despite not actually being silent and telling everyone they are the silent majority) now appear to not only be very loud but also very adamantly (and without a hint of irony) stating that after nearly 140 years, politics should be kept separate from football and in particular Rangers FC.
Sherrif John Bunnell
The official Rangers Twiiter seemingly rebranding to a being woke Roma/Bayer Leverkusen-esque banter page will annoy some of the more traditional Peepul.

Public menace
Some pathetic yet expected responses from clan sevco fans about their queens XI taking the knee.Embarrassing but you can’t give that lot a red neck with a blowtorch.

Heaven knows how Kev will feel when he finds out that he's been signing along to a Union marching song every week, the side in the American Civil War that, as far as I remember, were fairly behind the emancipation of the slaves & did feel that black lives matter (to an extent). Feel free to sing along if you know the words. Edited July 17, 2020 by Golden Gordon
AJF
Before this thread heads off into deep waters, please can we avoid generalising and branding a minority of fans as representatives of the fan base as a whole.
AJF
On the topic of football, I thought Rangers looked solid of not spectacular last night. First half we were clinical, and we arguably should have scored 2, maybe even 3 more in the second half. We defended relatively well and limited Lyon to maybe only 2 clear cut chances that I can remember. Positive start to our preparations. Kent’s a dafty.

Hi AJF, just to reassure you, that is why I directed my post to Kev, who had sent the original tweet against taking the knee, as opposed to your good self & the decent members of the Rangers* support.
Public menace
AJF, there are many decent rangers supporters. I have actually seen some of those speaking out against some of these abhorrent tweets last night, which is heartening.I would love to know how you would know that it is only a minority of fans though? My experience of living in Glasgow for 30+ years is that it is the majority of rangers fans I have met have these deep rooted views. This “minority of fans” line is dragged out after every indiscretion and it’s rarely accurate, in my opinion.

I suppose I cannot say it with any degree of certainty, I should have stressed it was my opinion based on my experiences of following Rangers.

Popular Post KnightswoodBear
Just seen someone make a very good point on Twitter. The Rangers fans getting on their high horse about the players taking a knee are probably the same ones that bring up the racist abuse Mark Walters suffered when trying to score a point. Morons.
