Solitaire
I note, bar one who quickly left, it's not Celtic fans wanting to talk about Rangers right now. Yet their thread is dead. 2 minutes ago, Dons_1988 said: Contrary to popular opinion I do think you're more intelligent than the post I've just quoted. If you want to count posts on a Rangers thread and use it as a badge of honour for the team you support then I suppose that's up to you. I think he's raising a pertinent question. Why is it all about The Rangers? We're not infesting your threads....I mean really....why is it all about The Rangers?

Somewhat strange but fine. It would be great though, if you were obsessed by your own club and channeled all this negativity towards Rangers into a positive for Queens. You'd be the best Queens supporter ever.

I'd expect posts to be in proportion to a team's standing. I can't imagine any sensible person taking issue with this. Why would you expect this? What do you even mean by standing? Would you for instance expect more traffic about Hamilton than for Falkirk?

Rangers had the biggest away fanbase in every SP ground last season bar Motherwell who gave Celtic more seats. I think it's fair to say less than 33% of people on here are Gers fans...i.e it is not reflective....5% maybe..if that.

If you were talking about the quality of post we might have the foundation of a discussion but it's not.Yours is a slightly more articulate version of "solly's" 'why is it all about the Rangers?' Your team are in the various forms of media multiple times a day no matter how trivial the story, of course it generates more posts. The other threads are perfectly active and the vast majority of 'diddy' posters spend far more time in their own threads than they do here. The fact that an aberdeen fan spends more time in here than they do in say a Hamilton thread is perfectly logical.

How would I go about channelling this stuff? You seem determined to pursue a line that says I can't like my home town team a great deal, while simultaneously strongly disliking the OF. Believe me. Not only is that possible; it's entirely consistent and logical.

I simply believe your hate is unhealthy and you spend more time hating another club than supporting your own.

Ah, that's a very different argument from the one Kincardine is struggling to construct and articulate. There's not a great deal I can do to make more Rangers fans post. I welcome the input of most of those who do though.

Don't even try and think it's a multi-team forum as you suggested, though. It isn't. It was close to it when I joined 11+ years ago but too many threads are overrun by Sevco-obsessed trolls who suffocate discourse. If you want something approaching evidence? There've been 10 new posts while I've taken 2 minute to compose this brief note.
Drew Brees
Rangers had the biggest away fanbase in every SP ground last season bar Motherwell who gave Celtic more seats. How did rangers have more away fans @ tynecastle, pittodrie, dens, etc etc, than Celtic?? bar maybe Kilmarnock I'm struggling to think of a ground where Celtic didn't sell all their allocation.
