Bobby Skidmarks
Hi I'm new to this forum but I'm just popping in to laugh at The Rangers. Shut up, Dave.

You're right. I'd fully expect his agent, the guy who is going to try and get another club to pay his wages, to tweet "My client was unable to pass a medical, anyone fancy signing him up? #dodgyknees lol"

TheGreenMonster
Roberto Di Matteo has said at his Friday press conference that the deal fell through after The Rangers couldn't agree personal terms with Lescott, player had already passed the medical.

You'd as well having the youngsters train on a local pitch/astro like other clubs in the league do. Murray Park is literally useless. He played almost 60 first team games. First team regulars McKay and Wilson are products of the academy and the players are all fit so I wouldn't say its useless, just underutilised in recent times although I expect to see the results improve in the near future with the new structures in place.

Ira Gaines
Doesn't appear to be his knees and I don't imagine family reasons would have allowed the deal to get this far.Looks like a bullet dodged to me but the alternative isn't exactly much better.

I knew I could count on you to fulfil my prediction. I'll never deny hating sevco but I tried to be reasoned in my posts about them.

Louis Litt
Why would you want to spend the best part of 20k a week on a player who at the absolute best will only improve the club short term? Pay a transfer fee for a younger player on half the wage.

However, it's much easier to say it in a post that to do in actuality.

Again this isn't wrong. However surely there is better value to be had than paying such a price for a 34 year old who in recent times has been nothing short of a disaster, obviously appreciating that's at a higher level.

The recent posts from fellow Bears indicate how bereft we are at the loss of Lescott and we've also had a few of us cast doubt on our 'superannuated sclerotic' signing tendency lately. There's also no mileage to be gained in discussing Lescott's deal further. It's as dead as... (diddies to complete the sentence).
