Bonnyrigg Rose 2016-17

The teams looked tired the past few games and we've been sadly lacking in the midfield for one reason or another. If we score then the adrenalin keeps the players going but when we don't score in the first half hour or so the doubts creep in along with the tiredness.

Depending on our result tomorrow it is possible Kelty could win the league on Saturday so that end of season title decider that the fixture man has held back could be meaningless. Let's hope that's not the case and either HoB or Linlithgow do us a favour but first and foremost we need to take care of our own results.

Good win tonight, Penicuik couldn't defend corners or free kicks and the changes Bonnyrigg made seemed to give them a wee bit more energy. Alan Horne played centre back tonight but looks a class act wherever he plays!

No sure if penicuik are just as tired as us. Good performance but squad is very stretched now. Was that McLeish on as sub? I thought he retired!!!

I didn't recognise number 14 but the team sheet said McLeish. I thought Archibald had retired again too?

How long are Johnny Stewart and rhuiri out for?

Both McLeish and Archibald came on as subs last night which tells you how stretched our squad is. Rhuiri is out for the season with a dislocated shoulder suffered on Monday. Add Hoskins and Brown to the list of players out to.

amazing effort from the guys, won last 3 games which has been tough enough but 16 goal turnaround as well.

just need to win last 2 games !!!   I think lithgae on Wednesday will be tougher of the 2 games. Second half performance today was excellent, squeezing out 5 th goal was a fantastic effort.

Never seen a team wasting time when they r 3-0 doon until today!

It was good to see our boys playing like they were 1-0 down for most of the game, I think that's where the intensity came from.

hopefully the 2 boys that went off are not too badly injured

Ye'll find 2 dives, 2 penalties, 2 goals takes the wind from most teams sails.

even some Bonnyrigg fans were confused by the refs penalty decisions.

Carnoustie played well until the penalties then spent the remainder arguing with the refs bias.

Reilly will be happy though.

Hopefully there's a ref out there that knows what McGachie is all about...

Aye, whatever. There could easily have been another couple of genuine pens today and the gowfers were very leniently treated for a constant stream of fouls and could have had no complaints if they had had half a dozen bookings.

Genuine penalties ... lol

McGachie has dived all season, he's renowned for it and it's been mentioned loads.

Well done to Carnoustie for turning up and doing their best with the decisions we all witnessed.

And likewise a ref who knows what Kelty are all about. Pressurising and surrounding the referee when decisions go against them.

Jose's Chelsea team of junior football.
