Dundee Bucket Trail

Recommended Posts

The greatest thing to happen in Dundee since we got a nandos. How many have you spotted?

I've got Seabraes, University Nethergate, the Rep, two outside Debenhams, Globe Bar, Riverside at Rail Bridge, City Square, Wellgate.

I think it's a sign of the times that Dundee are in the Overgate and United in the Wellgate but it's our own fault and we have to take our medicine.

I'm not using the map I prefer to find them randomly and get a surprise.

There's one at the Hilltown Clock. I pass it each day on the way home.

This made me chuckle (and it wasn't me before you ask); https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/local/dundee/216921/shock-used-syringe-found-oor-wullie-bucket-trail-statue/

Being that it's directly across from the 'sweet' shop (you know, the one that's open at 11 at night), this can't actually be surprising to anyone.

This almost makes me want to visit Dundee. I remember living in London when loads of painted cows appeared around London and getting a bit of a thrill discovering them. Must trigger some primeval urge.

I've only been a couple of times in last couple of weeks and not sparred for a few weeks - been really busy at work. So, I'm a bit of a part-timer at the moment but in general yes, still at it but a bit out of practice. Will make sure I'm in good shape for the Bridge of Doom for Hibs v Pars in August!

Nice one! You'll be in better fighting shape than me I packed it in over a year ago.

Were you at Lochend? I've only ever been to Brad's places at Duddingston, Spittal St Lane and Gorgie when it was open.

Very briefly. Leith Victoria was better imo.

Sorry - was being dense - remember now you'd mentioned that. Wish I'd got into it when I was younger instead of taking it up when I was about 34.
