marco44
Reported that it could be Joey Barton's first game at Ibrox tomorrow night. What size of crowd does everyone expect tomorrow night?
RangersRyan084
Warburton said if all goes to plan then it will be, I'd imagine between 30-40k will be there.

Andy Halliday
Pay at the gate & hottest day of the year. I thought me would maybe get 15-20K. Might be nearer the 30K mark now. Looking forward to it.
The_Kincardine
Hard to predict tonight's starting 11 but listening to Warburton it's likely to be close to this: Gilks Hodson Kiernan Hill Wallace Halliday Krancjar Windass Waghorn O'Halloran McKay
Bearwithme
It'll be interesting to see various new guys. It'll give us a hint about whether some of them might challenge to be first-team regulars or are mainly there for cover.
The_Kincardine
Kranjcar impressing so far. Cool as a cucumber and can drop his shoulder and send 2 defenders the wrong way. MOH looks keen as does Wndass.

The_Kincardine
Tribute to his defensive prowess! But our newly signed keeper didn't touch the ball until the 31st minute.

The_Kincardine
Easy street. Blair Currie also outstanding for Annan.
Vanderlei
These cup games are good for pre-season training, I think. Annan have gave us a better game than Motherwell tbf.
The_Kincardine
Thin gold line from Annan and hard to assess us as they rarely ventured beyond their own half. Notes on the new boys: Kranjcar looked class personified. Windass was hungry and skilful but maybe tried too hard. Hill had nothing to do. Barton ditto Hodson had a terrific first half and could have scored a couple. Gilks? I could've taken his place.

He has undoubted pace but it's hard to exploit that when the opposition team sits in deep. Not sure how teams will set up against us this year but if they fancy going at us then that's when I think we'll see the best of him. Was difficult to judge last night but we looked comfortable. I think Barton will be an asset sitting in front of the back 4. As for the goal....I wonder if Craig Gordon still thinks young Barrie is a one hit wonder. marco44
Swinglehurst Annan's best player. Gilks had an easy night. Decent crowd.
