JMDP
Went to Atleti-Mallorca today. Combo of not feeling amazing and it being the coldest I've been in years meant I left with about 15 mins left. At the time, Atleti were 1 up. Finished 2-1 Mallorca. Atleti slowly slipping out the title race with a bunch of abysmal performances over the last few weeks.

Savic going off injured another disaster for Atleti given he is about the only defender with pass marks this season. -

Granny Danger
The scorers of Barca’s five goals in their last two league games have been Gavi (2), Abde, Jutgla and Nico. It will take a while for them to get back anywhere near the top but the youngsters coming through are very exciting to watch and have an end product.

Quite enjoying them somehow being behind Rayo Vallecano.A reminder that Rayo snuck into the playoffs on the last game of the season. Amazed how well this season is going. Probably only need 2 more wins and some draws to guarantee survival.
Jacksgranda
Only a matter of time before Real Madrid score, surely.

Jacksgranda
Villareal 5 Levante 0. Villareal strolled to victory, it was all over by half time. Actually it was all over after quarter of an hour, by which time Villareal were 2 up. Second half they were far too over elaborate then scored 2 lovely goals, one walked into the net, the other a screamer. Quite frankly Levante were appallingly bad, lightweight defence, non existent midfield and a powder puff attack, little wonder they have only 8 points. Villareal cut through their defence like a knife through butter, and looked like they could score every time they went up the park.
Jacksgranda
Cadiz fail to put another spoke in the championship wheel, as they lose 1-0 at to Sevilla, leaving themselves in the drop zone and Sevilla 5 points behind Real Madrid with a game in hand. Sevilla always looked the more likely of the two, didn't think the Cadiz goalie was as good as the other night (assuming it was the same one! ).
Jacksgranda
After looking well out of it after Elche took a 2 goal lead in the first 15 minutes, Espanyol pull themselves back into it with a penalty on the stroke of half time, although to be fair to them they had come a lot more into it in the last quarter. Will be surprised if both teams finish with 11 men on the park unless they settle down.
Jacksgranda
And that's how it finished, with both sides keeping 11 men on the park, lost count of the number of yellow cards dished out. Elche out of the drop zone.
Karpaty Lviv
Betis vs Sevilla in the cup, Betis just equalised from a corner but one of the Sevilla players were clubbed with a big pole, thrown from the crowd. Players off the pitch. Edited January 15, 2022 by Karpaty Lviv
