If I was to venture in to the centre of town what pubs would you recommend? I looked at some photos of the Elizabethan and it did look like it had undergone a change of direction.

Check the pub thread that's pinned at the top of the forum.

£50 for non season ticket holders. Matchy entry, decent seats, programme, two course lunch, half time tea/coffee/pie. Cash bar. Andy Rolland (42 appearance for Pars, 429 for United) will be the guest speaker/victim of Leishman.

Our best centre mid at left back and a striker who's biggest criticism has been going missing in games at centre mid? You're correct, not gonna happen!

You've confirmed every assumption I've had of you; a fucking mentalist.

It's a more reasonable lineup than B&WT's tbf.

Poor attempt. I thought Dundee United were a premier outfit?

You will have to excuse Albert, he's not got the hang of this banter stuff yet.

FWIW I'm enjoying our interaction on this forum, the fans of the Championship clubs are a cut above most of their Premiership counterparts.

On the issue of line-ups I've dropped an e-mail to Ray McKinnon saying that if either of our new centre halfs aren't fit then I will cancel my trip to London and play so he doesn't need to bring in Donaldson or Durnan.  I'm taking the lack of response as a positive sign.

Tony Andreu seems a quality addition for United. With Talbot suspended I'm not sure who else can fill in the face-booting duties.

In an "any saves/rush goalie" lineup:

BRE

Williamson
Fordyce
Ashcroft
Martin

Higgin..
Geggan
Heron
Cardle

El BaKAlagui
Clark
