Ross.
Quote The Chief Secretary to the Treasury David Gauke tells Sky News that the Brexit-related extra borrowing is £58bn. Figures from the OBR put the blackhole in the nation's finances at £122bn, but not all of that is Brexit-related of course. The OBR says that £58.7bn of that borrowing is Brexit-related. Lucky for us that England will bail us out I guess...

ayrmad
It's a wee bit disappointing that we're going to be borrowing £122 billion extra at a higher rate than we could have been paying since 2010, we're not even getting the benefit of stimulating the economy, ach well, we voted for it, best just drop the drawers again for the next decade or so.

ayrmad
Are we too assume that the Tories have underestimated/fucked it by another £64 billion, the opposition should've been a shoe-in to boot them out in 2020.

They've been out of Government for six years now, but it still makes me squirm when the Labour leadership criticise anyone for their management of the nations finances.

No, that's in the past now, we're definitely into Tory responsibility now, they decided they'd have a better chance of gaining a majority if they promised an EU referendum.
