The Toun Clock
I never thought I'd say this but in Davie Hay's defence, I'm pretty sure Lyle's loan had been agreed by Jimmy Calderwood before he jumped ship to Aberdeen. Correct.
Black and White Tragic
Psalms 10:3 For the wicked boasteth of his Hearts desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. Psalms 21:2 Thou hast given him his Hearts desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. It doesn't say Heart of Midlothian, does it? Now back in your box.... 19QOS19
Would be good if Palmerston see a decent amount of home fans. FTFY.

Shandon Par
I think he was on holiday to the Fife Riviera, rather than on loan.
HoBNob
Would be good if Palmerston see a decent amount of away fans. Doubt it, I don't think we've ever brought down a big support. Will be my fifth? Time at palmerston, not seen us lose yet.

I'm sure it was announced at the time it was a three month loan? He didn't last til the January window and went back to the club he came from? It may of course just be that he was identified as a loan signing on that year's Football Manager!
HoBNob
You brought loads in 1986. Heard stories about it.Tbf I'd imagine the mentalist from the Queens support just grew up to wave rattles.
SUPERSOUTH
Queens to win today as Naysmith and his band of brothers players spirit to lift the gloom around palmerston, expecting a convincing display from the team Dobbie and Lyle on target again. Shandon Par
Big Nat has the Piri-Piri sauce ready and will marinade Dobbie early on, before devouring him as a snack half way through the first half. Moffat to score all the goals and miss all the penalties in a 0-1 away win.

19QOS19
I'm going for a Hamill red card and Pars to steamroll us due to a lack of fight in the middle. Jacobs is a massive loss.

19QOS19
Draw would be a fair reflection of the half. Has there ever been a player as tall as Ashcroft who is as laughably terrible at heading? Hilariously bad. Who got the goal? I thought it was an OG but Livescore and BBC have it as Brownlie.

Pretty typical centre-half, normally stronger than the strikers and able to get rid of the ball. Can't say I've ever noticed his heading to be particularly poor.
