Shandon Par
In the pre-internet days there was a scramble to get your company at the start of the listings. Hence a number of firms calling themselves Aardvark or Abacus.

BFTD
I never knew The Equalizer's theme tune was composed by The Police's drummer. Just watched a film called The First Power the other night and was surprised to see that he'd done the soundtrack. Looks like he's been fairly prolific for decades too. Anyway, brilliant theme tune. Sure I've got an unwatched DVD or two kicking around somewhere, so that's my afternoon sorted

Disney's ill-fated attempt to do a children's version of horror movies. Great idea It's alright though, worth a viewing.

We had some real scary stuff to.watch back then though.. Not sure if the equivalent is true now. Must be some I would have thought. We Brits liked to scare our kids eh? Must have had something to do with the acid generation !
BFTD
@Nkomo-A-Gogo just reminded me of the old 0898 adverts from the Eighties, as famously spoofed on Father Ted. Presumably those chat lines were popular, or there wouldn't have been so many advertised, but I just can't imagine anyone actually calling one.
