Signing deadline

Can a player sign with a junior club after the 31st of march deadline if there a free agent/ signed with an amateur team? Or what is the rules as unable to find out.

If he hasn't played for another junior side that season I believe he is fine to play . Unless there's been a change in the rules

U can't register a player after 31st of March, but u can play as a trialist if they have been released prior to the March 31st deadline, but only in games which do not require players to be signed. That is league games but not cup ties!

After 31 March no player can be registered with the exception of temporary transfer from SYFA clubs(subject to the player being otherwise eligible, e.g. not previously Senior or requiring reinstatement). Any player whose registration has been cancelled during the currency of the season shall not be eligible to register for another Junior club after 1st April.

But he can play as a trialist in league games only, providing his registration was cancelled prior to 1st April.

Also no matter whether registering a player or using him as a trialist from whatever level, if he was registered with a senior side in the past 5 years and requires reinstatement because it hasn't previously been done, you can't touch him, no reinstatement from senior to junior after 1st April.
