DBA
Off to Lanzarote this weekend on a mate's stag. Never been before - any recommendations on pubs/clubs/things to do? We're staying in Arrecife but I believe Puerto Del Carmen is better for pubs and clubs. Also planning on heading to the UD Lanzarote game on Sunday to see what the standard is like. Tam M
I go to Lanzarote 2/3 times a year, and we got married there last year in Puerto Calero. PDC is the most lively place to go, if it's a Stag Do, I'd be heading into the Old Town.

jimmy boo
What's Costa tequise like? Is it good for families? I would say yes although I've always found it a lot quieter than PDC.
Tam M
What's Costa tequise like? Is it good for families? I've only been through there for the day before. A lot quieter than PDC. I've heard a lot of good things about Playa Blanca for families.

Thinking of going with the Mrs later on in the year We've been going there for years. Lovely resort, fairly refined (i.e. not too yobbish). Playa Dorada and marina area particularly nice. Papagayo beaches are pretty spectacular if you don't mind a wee hike. You can walk from one end of the resort to the other (4 miles+) and only cross two roads. PM me if you want any more info.
