A waste of an opportunity, Scotland could have declared independence during this cop 26, Scotlands elected representatives to both parliaments is enough for International recognition. 

We have a majority in both parliaments, but our elected msp and mp choose to do nothing. They had the world at their feet and yet they still chose to do nothing.  Except a few photographs.

100% of them have been absolute crackpots.

They are crackpots but still more sensible than anyone who believes Sturgeon intends to deliver independence during this Holyrood cycle. 

The Scottish independence movement has almost been successfully castrated a la Quebec.

The current leadership of the SNP have been successfully castrated. That's down to poor leadership, idiotic strategy and governing party fatigue tbh. So I will give you that.  There will be no independence under the current snp heidyins.

However 50% of the population continue to demand independence. Despite all the nonsense floating around Indy politics in the last few years.

You have to conclude that support is solid.....and it's only going to grow.  So there is no comparison with Quebec.

In the medium/ long term it can't be stopped. It's a couple of political cycles away at most. 5 to 25 years.
