Given the topic under discussion is Dundee taking your manager and why Saint Mirren fans are deluded morons for declaring that they're a comparable club to them - yes, yes it is. Another one added to the pile of breakdowns.

buddie06smfc
A lot of shite being spoken here. The simple facts are: 1. If St Mirren agree to allow Jack Ross to speak to Dundee, and Dundee decide he is the man for the job, then he will be Dundee manager. 2. St Mirren don't allow us to speak to him and he remains manager at St Mirren...for now. Point 1 isn't a fact. Add that to the lot of shite being spoken.
Ludo*1
Point 1 isn't a fact. Add that to the lot of shite being spoken. Oh but it is. The only ones that would deny it being so are St Mirren fans.

As pretty much everyone else has been doing on this multi-club forum because you have made a fool of yourselves. Saint Mirren fans then flail out in all directions with whataboutery, deflection, tears and snotters about Morton. As I said, this has turned it an absolute disaster for you. Gareth_Glasgow
If Jack Ross does go, then it paves the way for Jim Goodwin's heroic return so it's really a win-win scenario IMO.

St. Mirren fan makes ridiculous and entirely serious claim about size of St Mirren in relation to Dundee Fans of multiple other clubs point and laugh at ridiculous claim while explaining why it's ridiculous St. Mirren fans who know fine well the claim is ridiculous ignore it, accuse Morton fans of bringing the size of clubs up to point-score and start talking about Morton, when it was a St. Mirren fan who brought the size of clubs up in the first place That about covers what's happening here.

Too rattled for words, tbh. What trajectory are we on? That's probably the main issue here. 5 minutes ago, Dunning1874 said: St. You've missed the point about Morton fans flocking to our thread at the merest hint of bad news to make raging c***s of themselves again. Otherwise, that's a very fair summary.

In fairness, if I'm Jack Ross I'm not interested in this move. Nothing to do with wanting to be loyal to St Mirren or against Dundee but it isn't a big enough jump considering the risk. St Mirren and Dundee are similar sized clubs with similar sized potential in the grand scheme (Dundee obviously a bit ahead right now but it's not a massive gap) He has a good squad here and things are pretty positive, money in the bank as well from the Mallan transfer and likely more if McGinn and McLean move this summer. If he has a good season here, he's looking at English Championships/ high level English League 1 clubs for his next move. He'll treble his wages, maybe more doing that as opposed to Dundee who might offer him a few grand more. Dundee have a big rebuild to do this summer after a disappointing season, could easily go wrong for him and be a relegation dog fight which would hit his reputation (not saying for certain St Mirren could not possibly be in another relegation dog fight but it is a lot less likely than Dundee in the premier league) Also my understanding is Dundee aren't all that cash rich, what kind of money would he get to improve the squad?

Yes Jack Ross will be at St Mirren next year to hammer Morton again

Not sure that signing a stack of utter dross to replace them, punting your manager after a couple of months and finishing the season with the same number of points as Dumbarton is a credible example of coping with the loss of key players tbh. What an utterly bizarre claim.

The poster you were trying to rip the piss out of was talking in terms of the sell on fees for two guys who haven't been St. Mirren players for well over two years now.

I assumed that he was referring to players in your current squad. Most of all because there have been no credible links between either player and a move elsewhere in this window.
