Jackson Irvine has just gone for £2M and McGinn is a far better player.

Would have to be at least £2.5M for Hibs to even consider selling.

Difference is that Burton will be well off financially from the Sky deal.

Not always about the quality of the players these days as is seen from the fact Liverpool think The Ox is worth 40m with under a year on his contract.

Mate, if you ever type 'The Ox' again I'm going to email Div and have you permanently removed from the interweb.

At the same time then we know Forest have money and took in £14m for one player, why should we accept peanuts? Far too many teams in Scotland just roll over and accept the first shite offer they receive. We're not desperate for money either.

We always manage to get good money for our players, confident it'll be the same here.

Wrong. 1.5mill rejected last night. Not sure if that was their second or third offer.

Fair play to hibs for standing their ground and all joking aside, you'll obviously be factoring in our cut and adjusting your asking price accordingly.

Hopefully you are right. If they go to 2m it's a good piece of business for you and St Mirren. I also think it's a decent move for McGinn as Forest are an established club and he will know Cummings and McKay.

We will know in the next 15 hours.
