There comes a time when even Linlithgow must realise that the SJFA is fighting a losing battle in the East in particular, and recognise that it is better to act for the 'greater good'.,... ie:for their members, the supporters, the players, and the future of the club itself. The pyramid will also benefit from them joining it now. There was never/ever going to be 2 competing feeder leagues in the same east of Scotland area.
parkcircus
Strange that the South Of Scotland haven’t suggested setting up a West section as its their area. Winners of both leagues playoff and then play the EoS playoff winner for the Lowland League

heedthebaa
These last minute meetings are comical, this has been coming ffs !!!!! Surely junior clubs have been in contact with each other about this to sound each other out, surely the likes of Keltys chairman has had plenty phone calls off other chairmen. Or have they just all buried their heeds in the sand till now

Truthteller
The top 3 from the super league will join the existing clubs in the EOS and the remaining ex-junior teams will form the second division. It`s only fair that they join at the bottom and work their way up, I`m sure that has been mentioned elsewhere. So in about 6/7 years some of the present premier teams might be pushing for promotion to the EOS first division. All about the money £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££3 -

Clubs that do their research, communicate regularly and canvass opinion with all involved including supporters and have a vote then they should be able to look themselves in the mirror in whatever they choose to do. stevie2502
Yes but BSC werent leaving the junior game. Its basically impossible for CB to share with another junior club if they go to EOSL next year because of this. It’ll all come out in the wash.Well they should have got their own ground and this wouldnt have been a problem

Maybe get all your crayons together write it down in your best handwriting and send them a letter suggesting that?

The old PWG minutes from 2013 referenced 3-4 feeder leagues to the Lowlaland League would be too cumbersome. Lowland Superleague is TJ's best bet for the SJFA blazers to keep a controlling say in running the lower leagues. Can avoid the SJFA split of diehards and those wanting to join the pyramid. Probably only drip feeds one club member a year through being promoted. It also allows for this take: "The Lowland Superleague is better than the Lowland League. The geography's pretty evenly split between the two. How about we just merge the leagues and create Lowland West & Lowland East at Tier 5."

ShrimpLok
Shows how far north the centre of gravity is that Glenrothes are in the south division. Also the North division has 10 out of 15 members north of the LL / HL dividing line. Not far off being a stand-alone north of Tay league.
Inanimate Carbon Rod
Would it be an issue if TJ and his blazers did run the feeder leagues from level 6 down? No, I mean they do a wonderful job with what they have already.
patriot1
The plan is to try and implement an east/west super league from season 19/20 at tier 6. If that goes ahead then there wouldn't be relegation from the super league next season.
