Rumours of Copenhagen takin him for 1.2m a few weeks ago. Lustig and Bitton can also play CB so there is plenty of depth there. With Ajer playing his way into the first team at that position I could see a first choice pairing of Ajer and Compper with Jozo and Boyata as backups for the rest of the season which I would be comfortable with. Brendan saw more potential in him at that position and his training and playing time since joining Celtic (plus Kilmarnock on loan) has been at CB so it's clear that's where Brendan sees him.
