Grow up you fcuking clown.

You seem very upset. That’s a couple of posts of personal abuse aimed at me for very little reason after you waded into a conversation that had nothing to do with you (just to tell me to leave it when it was you who decided to carry it on).

Think you probably need to log off and go to bed. You don’t seem to be cut out for this website.

Personal abuse? I called you a fcuking clown. Stop behaving like one. If it’s abusive then report it the mods.
I believe I am perfectly entitled to comment on any thread on this website regardless of the subject.

Oh so you are allowed to comment about any thread regardless of subject but I’ve to leave the subject alone because you say so?

@Drew Brees replied to me and I then replied to him. It had nothing to do with you. Knowing Drew as a poster on here I hardly doubt a post from you will stop him from replying to me and so forth.

ETA - I’ve edited this post @Molotov as it was unfairly harsh.

However my overall point remains but I’ll try to make it in a more respectful way.

Drew Bees was replying to a post I made on Tuesday. Today is Friday. My posts on Tuesday followed the Celtic statement and I hadn’t posted on the subject heavily since last Saturday. It was a “hot topic” on Tuesday on here and on different places.

Drew replied a number of hours ago to my post on Tuesday and here I am a few hours later sending 1 reply. Then you arrive and go on about my bitchfesting and basically “give it up” as if I’ve made hundreds of posts on this every day and had a constant back and forth. I’ve not even looked back on the thread to check but I would guess there are lots of other posters with far more posts on the matter than me.

So why you’ve jumped in here to basically tell me what I should and shouldn’t be doing is a bit out of order if you ask me and my initial reply back to you was nothing personal or negative, just a wee bit of light hearted shite humour that you seemed to struggle to accept.

Not exactly sure what the issue is here? Most concourses in stadiums are pretty soulless places.

Just a wee joke, no issue though it would be funny if it was pointed during their absence.

You have been at this like a dog with a bone since October 7th despite many Celtic fans on here giving you a pretty consistent opinion that they think the GB banner particularly the wording of it was a massive own goal. None of us are are in any way celebrating what is happening over there, not in the slightest. It’s fucking grim and the loss on both sides is at a point where is is just needless and mindless.

There is absolutely f**k all humorous about this subject, not a single thing however you seem hell bent on leveraging it for your own shits n giggles.

As others have said it’s time to pack it in, it’s not funny and it never was

“For us, David is a player we would like to keep, so it is not us here on the club side,” Rodgers said.

“He has to do what he thinks is right for himself. At this moment in time, he is still in the last year of his contract.

“For me, unless something changes, it is just a case of as long as the players are giving their all. It only becomes a problem if I don’t see the intensity that I want, the mentality that I want.

“That’s always something I am mindful of with players in the last year of their contracts. You have to be right on it or otherwise you can drift very, very easily, and think about other things. As a manager I won’t let that happen, no matter how good anyone is.

“There have been talks with his agent and the club, I believe, but I’m not sure what the latest on that is.

“[He’s] still young but I think when you get to that age, you do want to play, and be a starter. But if you want to be a starter at Celtic, it is that intensity and ambition you need to show, every game you play.

“There is no doubt he is a talented player. You see his goal [against St Mirren] - there are not many can score goals of that quality.

“I really like David. He is a good guy, has good size, he moves when he wants to move, good technique. And he scores goals. And that is why he was in the team the other night, because he is a goal threat.”

Rodgers on Turnbull. I laughed at 'he moves when he wants to move'. Sums him up perfectly.

I do apologise for my tardiness in getting back to you, after that weekend I was in london for the MNF Spurs/Fulham game with family over from the states, then up the road for the Atleti game on the wed, I’ve been to a gig, a funeral, a family party, 2 nights at the casino, Halloween market at the Barras and out for Halloween with the kids all with a full house and a few shifts at work. So my time on here has been a couple of mins here and there when I had the chance.

You quoted me a couple of days ago so yesterday, after they left was the 1st time I’ve really had the chance, hope you understand.

I thought he was pretty good today. The goal was outstanding.

Saturday night's alright for fighting stories isn't it?

One of the most infamous matches in Celtic history happened on this day in 1967.

The Lisbon Lions were playing to be world champions. Things took a turn for the worse though. Might even have cost big Jock a knighthood.

Aye it was a quality goal. Still don't trust him in the bigger games where we need more mobility though.

For me Turnbull is in our starting 11 going forward,Hatate has been very poor this season plus Holm and Bernardo haven't done enough to take his jersey.
When you say bigger games I take it you mean Europe, his experiences in Europe has been decent, the best coming in the away game in Leverkusen, I can see why St Brendan will go with Bernardo against Atletico rather than Turnbull just purely on off the ball work rate but for me Turnbull is more creative in the final third on the ball.

Hatate hasn't hit his best heights but we noticeably lacked a creative spark when he's out of the side, imo. This was especially evident in the earlier games where we had a front three of Maeda, Kyogo, Abada. Neither of those wingers are particularly creative types despite their strengths in other areas, and due to that our chance creation was noticeably down with Hatate out.

I like Turnbull, he has a good shot on him and I believe Brendan will be able to get something out of him, I just think we're a better side with Hatate in it.

i'm not saying Hatate doznae offer more when hes playing well plus I think you could have a three of O'Riley,Hatate and Turnbull giving McGregor a rest for games from time to time,I agree that Palma is offering more of a creative spark plus hes not had the chance to link up with Hatate this season. on that side.
For me there is plenty of options to rotate the three behind the three also with Iwata and Holm all different players with different abilities,it's not about the best 3 it's about the right 3 for each game.

Looking from the outside at Turnbull (but with an obvious bias towards him!), it's an interesting time for him.  I think he's got a big decision to make in the next few months.  If he wants to be playing every week, I don't think he'll get it at Celtic.  Quite simply because I think although he's a great player, he's not quite as good as Hatate or O'Riley at this point.

It's the clear the time under Ange has dented his confidence massively, as has the (unfair, IMO) continued shouts from fans about his fitness.  Just because he doesn't buzz around the pitch like a Maeda or a Kyogo doesn't mean he's unfit.  That's just not how he plays.

I completely understand Rodgers' comments above.  I have no doubt he'll want him to stay and I could see a year or two under Rodgers being as good for Turnbull as it was for the likes of Rogic & Armstrong in Brendan's first spell.

It's almost a Catch 22 for DT.  If he stays, he'll get better as a player but he won't always be first choice, but if he goes to a smaller club down south, he'll likely play every week and potentially get himself back into Scotland contention.   I know it's easy to say to someone like him to go down the Germany/Italy route that other Scots have done recently (I think he'd suit that style of play) but I know when he left Motherwell, one of the reasons he chose Celtic over the English Premier League (granted, it was fucking Norwich!) was that he didn't want to leave home.  I wonder, now we'll be close to four years later, if his thoughts are massively different.

He's a midfielder though, very few elite modern day ones are allowed to just loiter and if they do it's usually further back where they are more able to dictate play. Rogic was a bit similar to him in that respect but at the same time he wasn't always afforded game time for that reason, it also probably why any EPL club didn't really come sniffing (Rogic). I think what is unfortunate for Turnbull is Hatate can offer much the same goal return, better creativity and runs that help Kyogo's goal return also. What Turnbull can offer that we do lack though is physicality. When he first came he was a breath of fresh air for us but tbh he hasn't kicked on for a variety of reasons and perhaps has become a bit of a square peg in a round hole in terms of how the team plays.
