A-League 2017/18

Your right although I guess they think promoting the League in the week leading up to the AFL and NRL Grand Finals might be a wasted effort. The FFA and A-League are having a bit of barney which could possibly see FIFA intervene as seems they don’t like the Lowey fiefdom at the FFA.

I hope Fifa do, the ffa's reluctance to do anything other than the basics to promote the game here is insane, especially when football Is competing against so many other codes for fans.

Poor first half performance accumulating in a mad 5 mins where we leaked two goals but a better second half, shame we couldn't find a second

That second goal was odd. Pretty much everybody apart from a couple of defenders were camped inside the other half on one side of the pitch and the counter ended up going through miles of space.

It was because Castro got caught too far up the pitch and doesn't have the pace to track back

Worst game of the weekend IMO. Watched every game and quite enjoyed them all apart from that. Sydney FC looked vulnerable defending a lead which doesn't happen often.

LOVED the Adelaide win. Terrific stuff. A good weekend of football in the A-League. I love it.

EDIT: McCormack was MILES off the pace. But when he had the ball at his feet he looked decent at times.

R3 starts tonight with the “derby” between Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory. Unfortunately this game is being played at Adelaide Oval and they might struggle to get more than if it had been played at Coopers. Think this is the last year of a 3 year deal and thank f**k for that as it’s a shite place to watch football. Tipping a draw or away win with at least 1 red card, most likely to a Red.

That's us in the FFA Cup Final after beating WSW 2-1 away last night. Looks like we're away to Sydney in the Final on 21 November.

Hopefully! And hopefully it's at Allianz and not Leichhardt Oval
