auld yin wae knowledge Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I do not normally watch games from this League, but decided to take in a local game between Tullibody v Bannockburn, and have to say was very surprised to see half the Bannockburn team looked as they had just came out of school !! I last saw Bannockburn last year in the Scottish against my old club Shawlands FP and they had bags of experienced guys playing that day,but tonight they were few players over 20 and I was more impressed tonight than last year, especially the No 4, if he does not win this Leagues young player of the year I will be very surprised would also say Bannockburn discipline was exceptionally good especially when a few meaty challenges went in early on,. Good game tonight played on a very good 4G surface and will be interested to see how this young side go through the winter, the negative I saw was the goalie who was twice the age of some of his team mates, should cut out the moaning and the industrial language does not encourage the young lads one little bit. overall well done Bannockburn
