froggie Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Watching disaster movies has never been my thing, but on my 'go to places probably best avoided October- March' tour, I found myself at the ADL mismatch between Maybole and Saltcoats. You know those occasions when you feel looking the other way might be more respectful than watching ? This certainly felt that way, even if, with a bit better finishing and fair goals chalked off, the game could have easily ended with a more ' realistic ' score of 12-5 or so. I suppose avoiding double figures is an achievement of sorts...although Maybole running out of subs helped quite a bit. I suppose you have to look on the bright side, at least this season, Saltcoats don't have to go all the way to Glasgow and back to get stuffed like this, although there might be a few more ' difficult days at the office ' between now and April, if today is a fair reflection on the inexperience Saltcoats have to choose from. I'll wish yesterday's victims luck....they may need it by the bucket load.
tommyboy Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Sensational thread title which,no doubt, had the Talbot punters salivating at the prospect of viewing pics of this year's Miss Maybole contest.froggie.
froggie Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Miss Maybole avoided the clutches of the locals yesterday, now that you mention it!
