C4mmy31
Agree with Jones. Every time he had the ball I was worried. He managed to turn Logan 360 degrees in the wrong direction at the edge of the box at one point. J2 does blow hot & cold tbh, I always think he has a bigger influence on a game against the better teams in our league, he is very direct with tons of pace, but his final ball lets him down on occassion. He's started this season slowly, but hopefully, as with last year, gets better as the season progresses.

I've not seen Logan get dominated by a player like that in a long while.

RussellAnderson
Which is why we've only got 2 points and bottom of the league. The rest of your midfield looked so weak and small, McLean was winning headers and tackles. Greer made up for it with his dominating performance though. Hawkeye the Gnu
Well folks, if ever there was any doubt about the importance and relevance of P&B on Scottish football they were well and truly answered on Saturday. The Aberdeen players obviously read the content. Why else would they turn up and expect to win if they hadn't been reading our fans pre match uber optimistic comments. Shows the power of supporter participation and influence in matches.

Won everything in the air and his distribution was good. O'Connor and Arnason are the best CB pairing I've seen for us this season. I've seen folk slating him on Twitter though, so there could be differing opinions on here too. IMO he looked really promising.

Those picking fault with him yesterday are wallapers (or Mark Reynolds).

kingjoey
I know that we didn't deserve the three points, but nobody has picked up on the penalty that we didn't get near the end of the match. Killie defender grabbed MacKay-Steven and threw him to the ground in the box with the ball yards away. No idea why a penalty not given. Incredible decision. craigkillie
The reason nobody has picked up on it was because it wasn't a penalty in a million years.
RussellAnderson
Aye it would have been really soft that one. Nowhere near the play and really just a coming together at best. If the ball had been at GMS's feet it might have been more of a shout, but anywhere else on the pitch and noones claiming for a foul there. If you can get him back fit, and find a formation which makes the most of Jones' talents, then you could have a shot. At the moment though, it looks like a tough old season again, especially as other teams look to have strengthened more.

Though hopefully with both him & Eden Hazard having had the same surgeon & rehabbed together, he's passed on a few tips to Greig [emoji12] lol. betting competition
Well that was dreadful really bad - there seem to be no spark on Saturday apart from the first 20 minutes and last 20 minutes but the other 50 minutes was terrible which Kilmarnock deserved a point. Out of the last 4 games we have only turned up in 1 game and so many players are off the boil. Everyone goes on about Kenny McLean yet the favourites like Shinnie and Logan don't get a mention! Hopefully we return to form as we have a difficult game on Thursday night against an on-form Motherwell team. The positives I take from Saturday is our defence looked more solid than previous weeks and to be honest the start of the season we have made has been good considering how we have played in a lot of these games. Hopefully he can improve on this (and his decision making) as he is lightening quick.
