Wouldn’t be surprised to see more allegations come out against him now. And he’s taking the Scottish government - as in the SNP - to court. He's a private citizen with no formal standing in the political world beyond the capital he possesses as a former First Minister. As a divisive figure, and immediate predecessor, it's unlikely that any new campaign led by Sturgeon would've been keen to have Salmond anywhere near the real action.
