Nothing like a sickeningly bright orange away strip to unite the bears behind Stevie G against the evil Catholic establishment.

Pathetic and utterly cringeworthy.

We're getting an orange strip?

The faux outrage from the P&Bers will be fun...

Who is he?  What did he say and what has it to do with £70M?

Edit after a quick google:  Mark Dingwall, Rangers fan.  And, of course, Celtic did spend over £70M on their team last season (well last financial year).

Nothing to see here.

You know who Dingwall is..

Celtics massive financial advantage in the Semi final, I believe the **** was £11m?

Comparing The Rangers with Celtic is like comparing both of your arsecheeks. Except one of those cheeks is covered in carbuncles.

Was thinking that,  well not quite that anology ha.  The difference is Celtic can afford to pay players and fees due to their prize money etc and are well run club on and off the pitch. Sevco on the other hand are just getting more and more in debt with the reliance on soft loans and are an utter shambles on and off the pitch.   Sevco wish they were like Celtic while the rest of us wish Celtic were like secvo.

Is the sensible thing not to compare your own expenditure to your income, and have the income figure higher.

Doesn't matter if Celtic are spending £72M a year on all player/staff expenses, as long as they have the income to cover it...

Same goes for the the other 40 SPFL clubs and that how they have to work......

I have excluded Rangers/SEVCO from that as they remain too stupid to get that despite the last year's of making a c**t of everything

Well yes.
I hate it though when any fans, particularly OF ones, pretend that expenditure on players is just to do with transfer fees, ignoring the dominant role played in the modern game, by wages.
Those running Gretna, used to make the same gormless noises.

It's important in scoffing at Rangers, that we don't fall into the trap of seeming to side with Celtic.  Remember that they're wankers too.  In fairness, they do like to offer reminders.

Indeed.

Soccernomics has an interesting chapter on the correlation of transfer fees and success and wages and success.

Admittedly it’s focused on England but the ‘net spend’ of clubs on transfer fees has seemingly very little bearing on the success of a club.

Level of wages however give or take basically predicts a league table.
