Edit after a quick google: Mark Dingwall, Rangers fan. And, of course, Celtic did spend over £70M on their team last season (well last financial year). Nothing to see here. Celtic spent over 70 million on running the entire organisation. 500 or so staff, not quite the same thing as spending it on a team of 25 or so players. Theres your difference.

DeeBairn
What's good for the Sevco is good for them. I think the difference is that Celtic tend to turn a small profit on those operating costs most years.
Bairnardo
Its a good job a team with less money than Rangers didnt finish above them... That might just pish all over any semblance of "logic" in this arguement....

That might just pish all over any semblance of "logic" in this arguement.... The argument isn't without logic. Celtic do better than Rangers, primarily because they employ better players who can consequently command bigger salaries. Rangers should of course though, do much better than they do. We're dealing with the same wanky OF logic that Rodgers employs when talking of Europe. These clubs are absolutely on board with the idea of a wildly uneven playing field, so long as it favours them. It only gets highlighted at all, when it doesn't.

We have paid the living wage for about two years now I think but aren't a living wage partner. This came from fan pressure at the AGM but the Desmond and co wont endorse the living wage movement due to being tory bellends.

nsr
How much money did Celtic spend bribing referees to keep Scott Brown on the pitch and judges to keep him out of the jail? Must have been at least a couple of million.
