we've got a load of stuff in for this evening - family and what-have-you tipping up at some point, more's the fucking pity - including a jar of pickled onions - good big 'uns about the size of ping pong balls - strikes me that they might be fucking excellent if battered and deep fried, whole, not like shitey onion rings or bhajis

thoughts ?
