This was a 3-2 win in the second leg after a 2-2 draw in the first match at Forthbank. Snodgrass had a loan spell at Stirling Albion the second half of that season and stood out a mile at that level. Unluckily for me I was in the home end suffering. Airdrie had been 2 up with 10 minutes to go at Stirling when Kenny Black tried to shut shop and failed. I have never forgiven him, but don't mind Snodgrass's part. I think he was on loan from Livingston -loan players should be banned when we lose! We have never really recovered from that play off loss.

On looking him up, he had a decent career. He scored five goals in seven England appearances, but was never capped under Ramsay. He collapsed and died, playing in a charity match aged 48.
