Wearing the Queens Park away strip from, around 2000 I think are former Scottish Labour MP and leader Jim Murphy, Kenny Dalglish, Danny McGrain, actor and writer Tony Roper and Derek Johnstone. I was at this game. Celebrity All Stars v Queens Park , 21st May 1999. Rod Stewart was playing as well. It was the first game played after Hampden re-opened following redevelopment. Presume at least part of the reason it was held was as a trial event for the new set up prior to the Scottish Cup Final the following Saturday.

Nae idea, but here's another... That's Gary Naysmith on the far right, but don't bother asking when the baldy played for Hearts, it's Mark Martin, Radio Forth, a native of Rosewell and a Whitehill fan. Brockers61
2-1 defeat for Falkirk at Ibrox in season 1968/69. Didn't realise Sandy Jardine had played at centre forward for part of his career.

Brockers61
Season 1968/69 again. John Markie attempts to retrieve the ball from the feet of Jimmy Johnstone at Celtic Park. Despite scoring twice Falkirk lost 5-2.

Brockers61
Looks a sore one. What is on the back of the top, Hearts Trainer? Falkirk in unfamiliar second kit.

Yes, Watson scored in 30 minutes to put as 1-0 up, a Persson equaliser in 38 minutes and a winner three minutes from the end scored by Johnston saw us beaten 2-1. Ended up the season being relegated along with Arbroath. However spent only one season in Division 2 and came straight back up as Champions.

Aye The Dons beat you 2-0 at Pittodrie in December in a relegation 4 pointer, which more or less kept us safe, long time to the end of the season. 18 team divisions weren't all they were cracked up to be. We did our best for Arbroath, gave them 3 points.
