accies1874 Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 "Martin Canning makes four changes." "And Ross County score from the corner." "Not even a David Templeton wonder goal could salvage Accies."
Dee Man Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 St Johnstone and ourselves held the record for a few years for the lowest viewing figures for a game on Sky. I feel this could beat that record.
gannonball Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 This is going to be a nightmare for the Sky Sports staff who will have no clue who the clubs and players staff are. Will be like when the bbc have an obscure sport at the commonwealth like Dressage and you can hear the commentators flicking through their notes every 30 seconds. The sooner we bin sky the better. Anyhoo speaking of binning, Mon the county, a good away day and hopefully we will have no plastic pitches in the league next season as Killie are binning theirs.

Draw please, both down. Perhaps a County fan should start a match thread. Hamilton fans have a history of deleting their own threads if things don't go their way.
Comrie Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Looking forward to getting up at 5am to make this. Haven't made it to Accies away this season. We've actually shown a decent level of grit and determination over the last few games, which is where Accies usually beat us with. Hoping for a scrappy, tight 1-0 win with a deflected Schalk shot hitting of Mckay's arse and wrong footing the keeper.
bunglebonce Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Tomas and McMann will be suspended. Can we not get a ban on Rodger was well? County didn't really come close to scoring yesterday, but that was mostly down to how well Motherwell defended. Accies are tripe at the back times and if County apply themselves with the same intensity as the previous three matches then they've got a very good chance of winning IMO. On the flipside, two clean sheets in three matches shows how much County have improved at the back recently - the last time County visited they lost the match because they couldn't defend their box in Davies's absence, but now he can't even get into the team. Accies are Accies though and I'd never write them off. County might batter them for 80 minutes but Templeton can always grab a goal from nothing. About time for Gardyne to be used as a regular impact sub, I think, there's too much loyalty being shown to him just now. Ngog is being under-used. Otherwise the team picks itself again.
Savage Henry Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Shamilton Accies vs Dross County, surely? Everyone be sure to tune in the the blood-and-thunder hoofball spectacular. 100 MPH stuff. A County win would be huge. Kettlewell and Ferguson seem to have reinvigorated the side, and hopefully that'll be enough to make KVDW (or somesuch Hamilton defender) go nuts again and gift us the three points. Can't for a second imagine this will be an enjoyable game, but reasonably hopeful of a County win. EDIT: BB suggests Hamilton's loonballs are all suspended. Depending on Routis' injury, I'd imagine County will push Fraser into the back three, and Naismith into right back, which makes County weaker in the air in the middle but better going forward on the right. I'd be playing Davies in this one though, as it'll be a direct approach and he's great in the air.
cdhafc1874 Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Away win.I'm going to put money on us losing each game in an effort to jinx the opposition & if that fails I get more money back.
Dons_1988 Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Is it fair to say pre match, post match and half time coverage will be kris commons and kris Boyd talking about the old firm game?
Spain Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 4 points out of the last 48 for Hamilton. Time to finally turn up against these guys. Inevitable "where did that come from" gift to Hamilton aside, a 3-1 County win please.

Yesterday they left Fraser as RWB and put Naismith as RCB I'd imagine for that very reason. Suspect it'd be the same again.
accies1874 Posted April 22, 2018 Author Posted April 22, 2018 I didn't know Tomas and McMann were suspended. Sarris is the only replacement for Tomas, as you can't even just drop to a centre-back pairing of Want and VDW due to VDW being the only left-back. County completely ran over the top of the midfield in the last game and also completely nullified Templeton, so it is paramount that Canning gets someone beside Jenkins so that he's not the only fucking midfielder in the team like yesterday. Going back to playing with the two inside forwards behind, I would imagine, Ogkmpoe would allow Templeton to roam a bit more as it reduces his chances of occupying the same space as a striker, thus making him harder to track like Draper did last time. County's back three shat themselves when Accies ran at them, so they have to play through Templeton as much as possible.

Not done anything ban worthy. Still not been banned ever from this forum. Was well within my right to delete the thread. So that, is in fact, plenty.

Cerberus Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 It’s not a real Accies thread without a picture of Donald Trump.Get one posted.
bomberharris Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 With Tomas and McMann out we MUST play a back 4, with Sarris in middle and VDW at left back. We should return to our 4-5-1/4-3-3 that worked so well. Mackinnon returns to bolster the midfield and protect the back line. Then why not temps and miller/crawford playing off rojano or big 99? Moving away from a back 5 also allows us to “rest” Imrie
